You don't need any upgrades for this, and because the planet has low gravity you can keep the Nomad in the air for much longer. Go to the area I am in the video, and vertical thrust off the edge. Pull the left stick all the way back and spam the boost button about 5-6 times and use the vertical thurst whenever it recharges.
