Malta Island in the Winter 2017 We were in the island of Malta for 5 days, but if you could stay more days, it is better to explore more! Malta is located in the meditarranean sea near Italy and here you could enjoy different activities and places. During the day, you should visit the different known areas: - Valleta: a historic city and the capital of Malta - Mdina: a historic city surrounded by walls - Mellieha: the most important place there is the Popeye Village! - Dingli: you could visit the Dingli Cliffs - Marsaxlokk: with a beautiful Port and near St Peter Pool - Siggiewi: you can visit the Hagar Qim Temples (UNESCO) and the Blue Grotto Malta has two more islands: Comino and Gozo. As we were there in the Winter we didn't visit Comino, but in the Spring and Summer you should visit to see the Blue Lagoon! We went to Gozo, the boat departs from Cirkewwa, and it is kind of huge island to visit. The two main places we saw and liked were: - Azure Window: which felt down in May 2017, but we saw it and it was beautiful! - Victoria: there are a lot of places to visit in this area, it is kind of the "capital" in Gozo The best place to enjoy the nightlife is in St. Julian area with a good environment and good bars and music. One of the best places is Paceville. One last word about people of Malta, they are very friendly and speak very well english, so it is a nice city to be a tourist!
