Makueni For Kethi Kilonzo

Cord affiliated leaders from Makueni County have launched a spirited campaign for lawyer Kethi Kilonzo who they have endorsed to inherit the Makueni senatorial seat that fell vacant following the death of her father Mutula Kilonzo. The leaders accused their jubilee coalition rivals of employing tricks to divide the region by setting up Mutula's widow Nduku against her step daughter. Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama who led the high powered political team said any effort by wiper rivals to front foreigners to contest in Makueni will face strong resistance. Kethi will vie on a wiper ticket. Kendagor Obadiah reports.
