With only a 12" guide bar it is still very powerful at 1,650 FPM chain speed. We cut several pieces in this video including 2x 9" logs and a 20" which is not the intended use of this saw but it can certainly handle it if called upon. Battery life was very good we got almost an hour with a lot of cuts made. Tool-less chain adjustment is very easy to use and a very handy feature for field service.
