Making, Arranging, and Fusing Gold Granules

In this video by Rio Grande, Jeanette Caines of Jewelry Arts Inc. demonstrates different ways to quickly and easily make gold granules, using water to aid in laying them out and offers advice on the best way to get them to stay in place during fusing. Watch as she shows you how to achieve uniform granules in a variety of sizes and then arranges them onto flat and domed surfaces. Finally, she uses hide glue to keep them in place and fires them using a Smith Torch and an Ultralight kiln.
