I have used an old car spring as the source of good tool steel for this project, and in the film I take you through the blacksmithing techniques, and the tool hardening and tempering using a gas torch. Finally I give a short demonstration of the tool in use, so that you can see how effective it is. I hope you enjoy this film that was shot on location in a woodland, and back at my workshop.
