Maharashtra Snoopgate: Did BJP Tap Phones Of Opposition Leaders During Assembly Polls?

Maharashtra minister Anil Deshmukh has said the phones of non-BJP leaders in Maharashtra were tapped during the Maharashtra assembly elections and a probe will be ordered into the serious charges. Now Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has said a senior BJP minister of the previous government had also warned him that his phone was being tapped.
Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has denied charges. Fadnavis has said tapping phones is not part of the political culture of Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader and former Maharashtra home minister of state Deepak Kesarkar levelled allegations of phone tapping against the previous Congress government too.
