MAF334: Standard costing - Mix and Yield variances

This video explains the mix and yield variance. Take note that it is the "usage" variance that is split into a mix and yield variance. The mix variance results from the actual proportions of the materials differing from the standard proportions. The yield variance results from more (or less) of the materials being used than would should have been used.
