Madras HC: Stop Sterlite Expansion, Public Hearing In 4 Months

The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court has stayed Sterlite copper factory's expansion plan, delivering an interim order on the ongoing construction of a new copper smelter by Sterlite Industries asking them to halt the construction of the plant.
