Madonna is joined on stage by Pussy Riot at Amnesty International Concert

At the Amnesty International, 'Bringing Human Rights Home' concert Madonna swore her way through a long speech in which she described how thankful she is to belong to a country where she feels free. The American Pie singer then introduced the band commending them for their courage and fearlessness which was greeted by cheers and yells from the audience of thousands. The band members embraced the superstar before Nadezhda Tolokonnikova told the crowd "We demand a Russia that is free and a Russia without Putin," The pair also brought attention to eight Russian demonstrators who will be sentenced later this month after being charged with mass disorder at a 2012 protest against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
