Irene Rich, Monte Blue, and Norma Shearer (only 21 years old here!), star in this movie adaptation of a story by Kathleen Norris. Released by Warner Bros. with an alternate title (Flaming Passion) director Jack Conway intentionally cut away from Irene Rich (Lucretia) to showcase Shearer (Mimi) whom he found admirable. Also interesting to see Shearer play a vamp role. First of two movies she made for Warner Bros., the second being "Broadway After Dark" (1924). Box office information for the film: Cost of Production: $128,000; Domestic Gross: $348,000; Forgein Gross: $37,000; Total Gross: $385,000 (From the William Schaefer Ledger). Got this a couple of years ago, and since Shearer's silent movies are so rare, I finally decided it was time to upload my copy. I don't own this movie, it's in the public domain. Almost 10 years later Irene Rich was supporting Norma Shearer in "Strangers May Kiss" (1931).
