What’s this? A high quality hard bluegill swimbait for the masses? Finally, the answer is YES. The 2015 Lucky Craft Real Bluegill is superb! It comes in at just a hair under 6" and weighs 2-5/8oz. It looks great, swims great, and I feel is priced great at only $20. For a Japanese made medium size swimbait that is excellent. The lure exhibits a natural, semi-tight "S" swimming action and puts out a deliberate, but not overbearing rattle via one large knocker. The Real BG has been weighted to fall perfectly horizontal and sits upright when it hits the bottom. It can also be waked with a medium fast retrieve and rod tip held high. A medium paced retrieve will have the lure running at around 5ft deep. The action at a steady retrieve errors on the side of "natural" instead of powerful or erratic.
