Revolving around a 12-year-old girl living with her mother, writer Julien Neel’s ‘Lou!’ comic books have sold more than 2 million copies around the world. Now, he adapts his own work for the big screen. Creative youngster Lou (Lola Lasseron) lives alone with her mother Emma (Ludivine Sagnier). Their settled existence is soon to be shattered however as Emma threatens to slip into depression, and Lou finds herself attracted to neighbour Tristan (Joshua Maze). This charming Gallic comedy-drama mixes laughs and pathos as it observes that all-important shift from childhood to adolescence.
