Amanda Eller, a Hawaii yoga instructor who had gone missing on a solo hike over two weeks ago, was found alive by a helicopter yesterday. Get the latest details in our LIVE COVERAGE.
Eller, 35, had intended to take a short hike on the Kahakapao Loop
Trail in the Makawao Forest Reserve on the Hawaiian island of Maui. But she got lost during the hike, and ended up wandering further into the forest. After authorities called off the search for her, privately-funded searchers kept looking, and finally she was spotted yesterday by a helicopter. While Eller has some injuries, including a torn meniscus, she is alive and in good spirits.
