LOSI Mini 8ight vs Mini 8ight T Triangle track......RACE!?

I am trying to teach my Buddy how to drive an rc ........He does well for his first time........but strips the gears in both mini 8ights lol....I have never had gear issues with them, but I don/t jam the throttle and gas and know not to do it especially when in tall grass or leaves.. I do drive them both so you can see a comparison.....they are both about the same going around the track , but the mini 8ight T has a wider wheel base and bigger tires so takes the terrain a bit better then the mini 8ight.
