Losi Micro-T Desert Truck with Atomic BB Motor II - NiMH vs LiPo

A comparison between the standard NiMH pack and a LiPo pack in my Micro-T Desert Truck. The motor has been upgraded to an Atomic BB Dual II (ball bearing). I first ran the motor in by connecting it to a 1.5V AA cell and dropping it into a glass of water for 10 mins (yes, this does make a difference with brushed motors!) I have adjusted the slipper clutch so that when you hold the rear wheels and apply full throttle, it just slips - this stops the motor loading up which will overload the ESC, resulting in the motor cutting out. Many others have had the motor cut out problem when upgrading to LiPo. This micro truck is so much fun!
