Longsheng Rice Terraces (龙胜梯田) Adventures - Part 1: Arrival from Shenzhen to Dazhai Village

Join us on our adventure to the Longsheng Rice Terraces. The trip was planned to start on Wednesday (3 April 2013) right after work to take the sleeping bus from Shenzhen and have the full three days of the Qingming Festival to explore the beauty of the Longsheng Rice Terraces. It was a long journey (18 hours) from the Futian bus station in Shenzhen via Guilin and Longsheng to the Dazhai Yao Village. Delayed, overcrowded and dangerous bus trips, a cold, hard and not tasty breakfast as well as a dead chicken attacking passangers. To be continued ...
