Lola van Ella in the 10th Annual Show Me Burlesque Festival

Lola's performance at Spectaculaire for the 10th Annual Show Me Burlesque Festival. *This performance was done in tribute to my mother, who passed earlier this year (in April, just 6 weeks before the fest) and was looking so forward to sitting in the front row as she always did. This is not the most polished act. I was emotional, and my voice was tired, and I was still, without even realizing it completely, deep within my grief. My dad was also in the front row, and it was a little overwhelming performing this with him right there. The first song, "I'll be Seeing You," was one of her favorites.
