RESEARCH: Read on the industry itself, on it's history and on its competitors. Look at the actual logo style. Find logos of similar business and critique them. Look more for techniques and ask yourself: What makes a really good logo, why do you like this logo and dislike that one? Make sure that your logo will differ from the competitors. 2. MINDMAP: Take break from your computer and go outside! Brainstorm and draw a mindmap! Use keywords, images, circles, thoughts, lines, ideas — everything that you assosiate with a logo. 3. SKETCH: Try to express your ideas with the help of a pen. Be alone! Create multiple concepts and variations around the brief and research and be creative!
