CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Liz Bonis and Josh Knight took part in the "Ice Bucket Challenge" on Sunday morning to support the ALS Foundation.
In the name of raising awareness about Lou Gehrig's Disease, people pour buckets of ice water over their heads. They then challenge others to do the same on social media.
The campaign kicked off July 29. Since then, the ALS Association said it has received more than $1.3 million in donations. The organization collected $22,000 in the same period last year.
Liz and Josh have challenged Jeffy Ruby, Aroldis Chapman, and John Prout to complete the challenge within 24 hours.
