“Living My Own Life: Adults with Disabilities” A film by Michael Loukinen, Ph.D. Gail Jackson, Becky Briggs and Debbie Patterson each had a dream to live an independent, productive and satisfying life. DDI, in collaboration with the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council and several council projects, created the “Living My Own Life” video to tell their stories of triumph.
