Life on Film: Carrie

When Carrie Webber decided to pursue a career as a softball coach, it was a way to stay connected to the sport she loves. More importantly, it gave her the opportunity to impact the lives of the players she encounters. Today, she serves as APU’s head softball coach, and she knows it is about much more than wins and losses. “I try to encourage and advise them in life. I want to see them be good athletes, students, employees, and neighbors,” she says. Whether leading practice or offering sage advice as a mentor during dinners at her home, Carrie uses her words and actions to guide student-athletes to victory on and off the field.
