Ruptly's drone captured the ghost town of Skrunda-1 on Saturday. The former Soviet secret city was home to two Dnepr radar installations during the Cold War.
Located five kilometres (3.1 miles) away from the actual town of Skrunda, the site was constructed by the Soviet Union in the 1960s to spy on Western Europe. The range of the complex's radar station is believed to have been more than 6,000 kilometres (3,728 miles), with an altitude of up to 3,000 kilometres (1,864 miles).
