Apple says iMacs from late 2009, like my 27 inch iMac (Model Identifier iMac11,1), can only use a maximum of 16 GB of 1066 MHz RAM. But I found you can use twice that limit with slightly faster RAM. So if you are in the market for RAM, this hack seems to work. **UPDATE June, 21 2015** Still going strong with this RAM. No issues to report. **UPDATE August, 7 2015** Once again, the RAM is still working great. No issues.
