An extremely melodious Rajesh Roshan composition from the 1977 film Khatta Meetha. Late Mangeshkar sings most of the song, while Kishore Kumar makes a fine entry only in the second antara. Gulzar wrote the lyrics. Shared here is an extract from the LP record published by Polydor. The audio quality is mediocre on this record, and the sound appears muffled in some parts.I have retained the dialogues at the beginning of the track, just as it was pressed on the LP.
