Lapping a 10 inch telescope mirror blank

Using a horizontal vibrating lap to grind the top and bottom surfaces of a 10 inch telescope mirror blank flat and parallel. A series of grits from course to fine is used to get the top and bottom surfaces flat, then smooth. This mirror blank was cast from scrap glass in my kiln.
