Landscape Photography - Blue Sky Mountain Compositions A beautiful day. Sunny, warm, and not a cloud in sight. Beautiful, but not really ideal for landscape photography. As that's the forecast for the next week, or even longer, I was left with choices about whether to bother taking any photos. I decided to head into the mountains to seek some images that would work with the conditions. I had some ideas when I went out. An idea to use strong angles and contrasts to create an image. An idea to use framing within the frame to create an image. But I was also open to anything else I might find along the way. At the end of the evening I wasn't sure what I had achieved. Certainly I had managed an enjoyable hike in the mountains but I wasn't sure that the images would really work.
