Land Dispute on Gurgaon's Southern Peripheral Road: Clash over Compensation

With the deadlock over Gurgaon's Northern Peripheral Road or Dwarka Expressway resolved, the Haryana Government has shifted its focus on kickstarting work on the Southern Peripheral Road thats been stalled since 2009. This 7 km road is supposed to connect Golf Course Extension Road to the NH8. And we are focusing on this region because the Supreme Court in September this year resolved the legal dispute on this road. And since then, the Haryana Govt has been making noises about how they are speeding up this project. But as Vasudha Sharma discovers on ground, things look far from resolved.
