Played on Yamaha Clavinova CLP – 330 The song May 16 was written by Lagwagon and published on Let's Talk About Feelings album (released in november 1998 through Fat Wreck Chords), and is one of the band's most well known songs. It is also featured in video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, which made it even more popular. Lagwagon is a Californian punk rock band, formed in 1990. It's frontman Joey Cape is one of the greatest punk rock singers today. May 16th marks the day an old friend of Joey's got married. The problem being that Joey wasn't invited to the wedding due to a falling out with his friend's fiance. At the day of the marriage, he was at different friend's house and saw his friend's wedding celebration through the window. Rumors exist that the friend involved was Fat Mike Burkett from NOFX band and owner and founder of Fat Wreck Chords.
