La cloche sonne, S. 238 LW.A169, written by Franz Liszt circa 1850 and not published until 1958. Played here by Alexander Djordjevic and recorded on an iPhone. Djordjevic's latest CD, "Gray Clouds: Piano Music of Franz Liszt," was awarded the Hungarian Liszt Society’s 35th Annual Franz Liszt International Grand Prix du Disque in 2010. Although this short but beautiful piece was not recorded on the above-mentioned CD, Djordjevic enjoys discovering and sharing lesser-known pieces, especially those of Franz Liszt.
