Kyodo news is a Japanese newpaper transmitted over HF Fax.
Received from Auckland, New Zealand and the transmitter originates from Tokyo, Japan I believe. Kyodo news is the only newspaper to be broadcast over HF Fax mode. It is also special in that it runs at 60 lines per minute, rather than the usual 120 for weather fax.
Using the nooelec "Ham It Up v1.0" upconverter circuit, an R820T RTL2832 RTL SDR tv dongle with a random wire antenna about 15m long. The signal is only receivable here in NZ for me at night time when the signal propagation is good. During the day it is very faint and unusable.
