Kurds worldwide march in solidarity with Kobani

Kurds in Turkey and across the world have taken to the streets to show their solidarity with the besieged Syrian town of Kobani, as Peshmerga fighters and others battle to stop it falling into the hands of ISIL militants. The failure of Turkey itself to help defend the mainly Kurdish town on its border has sparked riots among Turkish Kurds in which some 40 people died.
