It's a story about brothers avenge to their enemy who killed their father. At the beginning, Jana no Shi, a hero of the story, tells audience about his father's death. On one dark night, Takadera Uzashi, a high ranked official known as a brutal man, breaks into residence of Hiya of Ojana, a father of Jana no Shi, and murders him. Jana no Shi, the first son of Hiya of Ojana, decides to avenge his father's death on Takadera Uzashi. He thinks it would be difficult if he goes alone, therefore he asks his younger brother, Chiun, to help him. Chiun is a Buddhist monk and once rejects that, he finally agree to go together with Jana no Shi. They decide to disguise as street performers to get close to their enemy easily. Meanwhile, Takadera Uzashi is visiting seashore of Kohama Village for purification ceremony because some bad omen happened in his residence. Takadera Uzashi gives his family and attendants order not to mention his name in public. Wind lightly breezing, it is a beautiful day. Takadera's children dance gracefully. The brothers dress up like Manzai, street dancers, and walking around villages to find their enemy, Takadera Uzashi. They happen to run into a man who asks brothers where Kowan Village is. And the man tells the brothers that he is about to go to see Takadera Uzashi's celebration. The brothers hurry to Kowan Village. The brothers find Takadera Uzashi. They pretend as they are Manzai, street performers, and get closer to their enemy. Takadera's attendance asks them to leave, but one of Takadera's family members asks the brothers to perform some interesting dance. While Takadera see brothers dancing, he senses that something is going wrong, and he orders his family to leave. The brothers think that is a chance and they attack Takadera Uzashi.
