Autumn in Poland is beautiful, don't you think?
I shot this video handheld without any gimbal or even strap. This is my first video taken with A7R III and new Sony lens.

After a full day of fun, I can say that the Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM is my favorite lens, the coolest one I've ever dealt with. It gave me more pleasure even than Zeiss 50mm f/1.4, but it is mainly due to much more bearable dimensions. Well - weight (450g) and size are one of the most important assets of this glass. But of course not the only one. Apart from wide aperture, the greatest advantage of this glass is - in my opinion - the sharpness of the photos it produces. Pictures are just as sharp as from Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 and at the same time clearly sharper than my copy of the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM. However, I reserve that I am talking about the center of the frame, with aperture fully open. I did not do any meaningful test of sharpness with aperture stopped down or on the edges of the pictures. AF did not cause any major problems, I have not used manual focusing yet. The general advantages of this lens are certainly the AF/MF switch, an additional programmable button and an aperture adjustment ring, which is a hallmark of all G Master series. Does the lens have any serious defects? I have not identified any disqualifying ones yet. The only thing I noticed is quite a large chromatic aberration with a wide open aperture (this is not something unprecedented with so bright glasses) and high susceptibility to flares. If I were to take with me only one lens for travel, it would be this glass (on the A7R III it can successfully do 35mm).
