Sometimes you just want to land back at the KSC runway though and to do that you have to deal with re-entry. Kerbin's atmosphere is pretty thick and gauging the right trajectory to bring your SSTO back to the runway can be difficult without mods. There are a few tricks that you can use to help make re-entry much easier and I'll walk you through them!
