Kosenko died at the age of 42 but not before completing a stunning corpus of piano works. His easier piano works are occasionally featured in examination syllabi, while he is now being more recognized as a composer in his own right thanks to the dedicated pianist Natalya Shkoda who recorded two CDs of his music.
