In traditional Korean music, Korean drums play an important part from folk music to royal court music. the most widely used drum used in the traditional music of Korea is the janggu (changgo) or sometimes called seyogo (slim waist drum).It consists of an hourglass -shaped body with two heads made from animal skin. The two heads produce different pitch and timbre, which are believed to represent the harmony of man and woman when played together.
