What's up everybody! Check out this quick video review of the Konica Hexanon 57mm f1.4 Adapted to the Sony A6000 camera. I bought the lens from KEH.com for $40. The lens was made in Japan, and the build is very solid. The lens has a 55mm filter thread, a minimum focusing distance of two feet, and six apertures blades which produce some hexagon shaped bokeh. I'm adapting the lens using a K&F Concept Adapter I bought from Amazon for about $15 (see link). The adapter is the magical piece of metal that allows us to use these old lenses on our new cameras. In this case I'm using an adapter that converts the Konica AR Mount to the Sony NEX/E-Mount, it's labeled (Konica-NEX). After getting the lens adapted to the camera we'll run out a take some sample photos. Adapting vintage lenses can be an excellent way to acquire quality glass at a bargain price.
