Knitting Flat With Circular Needles

I often see questions from new knitters about this topic. Circular needles aren't just for knitting in the round. You can also use them for small projects, and of course you will need them for larger projects like afghans. Circular needles distribute the weight of larger projects more evenly, and allow the work to sit in your lap, which can cause less stress on your wrists and hands. To knit flat with circulars, simply turn your work at the end of each row just as you would if knitting with straight needles.
