In this video you'll learn how to dance kizomba confidently, and you do it with a good men styling. Watch this to gain more kizomba moves for men and improve your dancing skills! Eh, honestly I am getting more and more impressed by Curtis Seldon. When I first saw him at Bachaturo 2016, it was like he's good, but didn't seem anything special. Then I saw him again at Kizmi 2016, and then now at Copenhagen kizomba festival. And yes, I must confess... I am becoming a fanboy. Curtis & Carola make a perfect duo. Curtis is really good on explaining men leading and footwork, Carola explains what ladies should/shouldn't do. (You know how ladies rarely get help and just male teacher is doing all the talking..?) Okay, but this class was all about Men Styling :) Haha... don't mind Sabine joining men's class - she likes to be challenged :) Plus she helped Curtis to show leading parts :) Anyhoo... * * * Top lessons from Curtis class: 1. The importance of imagining lines and dancing to these lines. Like men saida - imagine yourself going out of line and then going back to it together with lady. Or woman saida - where lady is leaded out of line and then gently pulled back. That's a start - afterwards do the same with other advanced moves. 2. Another thing I didn't know was how to dance just to the vocals. Curtis really showed how he can express himself very well dancing to just vocals with some sick footwork. You can easily change tempos - slow-mo, syncopate when you dance to vocals. Especially when song doesn't have a beat. Which happens sometimes. 3. Curtis showed 6 kinds of women saidas he does. I knew only about 2 really. 2 more I've seen in videos and learned on my own, and learned incorrectly it turns out. Curtis is the first guy, who really explains and shows the difference between different saida footwork and explains his leading. And for this reason - I am really grateful for this lesson! So if you get a chance to go to men styling by Curtis, don't miss this opportunity!
