Kidero Sworn In

The system of devolved governments in Kenya effectively came into place as all the 47 county governors took their oath of office. And Nairobi, which is the country's capital ushered its first governor Dr Evans Kidero who was sworn in at a ceremony at Nairobi's Uhuru Park. Upon taking the oath of office Kidero reaffirmed his commitment to adhering to the principles of good governance and management that would see his tenure transform the lives of Nairobi residents in a way that their happiness would be the tool for measuring his success.
