The bodies of six tourists abducted and killed on Monday (15/7), have been fished out of Dal Lake in the Kashmiri capital, Srinigar. The six Hindu tourists were kidnapped during a boat ride on the lake -- a popular beauty spot. Twelve visitors from Rajestan and Allahabad were originally abducted, though six were released unharmed. The dead are the first Indian hostages to be killed since trouble erupted in the province in 1989.
