Dixieland Group was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Yurij Tverdov trombonist. The band consists of professional jazz musicians from Kaliningrad. Jazz Band is an independent team. The team of 10 persons: trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar, banjo, piano, guitar, bass, drums, vocals male-1, female vocals - 2 We all have a musical education. Orchestra performs live, performs traditional jazz, world hits: Presley, Sinatra, Obodzinsky, Gr. "Beatles" and the music of Russian stage. Kaliningrad Dixieland performed many concerts in the Kaliningrad region, Poland, Belarus, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark and Sweden. In particular, in 2009 at the invitation of the Russian embassy in Sweden, and played Dixieland in the cities - Stockholm, Malmo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen. In 2004 and 2008 participated in Klaipeda Jazz Festival, where in 2004 he was awarded. In 2009 he was invited to the festival in the Swedish city of Karlshamn.
