Kabelo remembers Hugh Masekela

That was Hugh Masekela talking to the SABC about his then struggle against alcohol and drugs which he overcame. His positive influence on life and his musical career influenced many young South African musicians, including Kabelo Mabalane. In the early 2000's Bra Hugh established the Musicians' and Artists' Assistance Programme of South Africa to assist artists and sports personalities to beat their substance abuse addictions.
