Jonathan, PDP Leaders Woo Osun Citizens Ahead Of Guber Election Pt.14

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a rally on Saturday in Osun State to woo citizens of the state to support the PDP candidate in the governorship election that will hold on Saturday, August 9. Ahead of the elections, a large number of security officials had been deployed to the state to ensure security and to discourage sharp practices that could jeopardise the electoral process. The All Progressive Congress, the party in power in the state, had condemned the deployment of security officials, insisting that it would create a tensed atmosphere , not conducive for the electorates. But at the rally, President Goodluck Jonathan told the PDP supporters that deployment of security personnel was to ensure that the election was credible, free and fair and devoid of possibilities of ballot box snatching.
