Jodi Arias Gets Handcuffed & Chained Around Her Waist, Tries to Fluff Her Hair for Mugshot Photo

Jodi Arias' police interrogation tape shows her getting handcuffed on the day of her arrest, July 15, 2008. You can hear the clicking noises of the handcuffs. It's clearly seen in her body language that she was very uncomfortable, probably at the fact that control had been taken away from her. Jodi thought she would be appearing on the news and was expecting a mugshot. Even while handcuffed, she vainly tries to fluff her hair for the mugshot photo. The day after her arrest, Jodi is seen in an orange prisoner jumpsuit. She was probably rudely awakened to the realization that her freedom might never be what it used to be. When going to the bathroom, she had to be accompanied by a female police officer. When the interrogation is finished, Jodi submits her hands to her handcuffs and in addition is shackled with a prisoner waist chain. Other than the day she murdered Travis, these were probably the most shocking days of her life up until that point in time. Her next shocking moment was the day she heard her guilty verdict. Her most shocking moment ever could possibly occur if she is sentenced to death.
