Duan Shen Feng's name literally would be "Forger of great blades" he is one of the two great blacksmith in the series, (the other is Fei Chang Shen ) he is also the leader of a relatively autonomous region in the Miao realm. Due to his forging abilities he got involved in a lot of the plot as different parties always try to get him to make stuff to forward their goals, he's also an extremely capable martial artist himself as seen in this segment. in fact the swords he wield is one of the most powerful in the series as it is one of the rare items forged for a King's Bone. He's mostly concerned about his competition with Fei Chang Shen, to prove that he's truly the best blacksmith out there, and it is this very obvious and predictable intent that gets him to be baited into all sorts of fools errand.
