Such challenges are at the heart of a new book by the Reverend Jim Wallis, On God's Side: What Religion Forgets and Politics Hasn't Learned about Serving the Common Good (Brazos, 2013). Reverend Wallis was joined by the Washington Post's Michael Gerson for a discussion of these critical issues. Tom Banchoff, director of Georgetown's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, acted as moderator.
