Conformably to Section 2, Rule 7 of the Revised Rules of the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC), a public panel interview will be conducted on 20 June 2018 (Wednesday) in the Division Hearing Room, Supreme Court Main Building, of the following candidates for the position of Ombudsman (vice Hon. Conchita Carpio-Morales, whose term will end on 26 July 201 8): 9:00 a.m. — 12:00 noon 1. BELLO, Silvestre H., III 2. DELA CRUZ, Efren N. 3. HERRERA-BATACAN, Edna A. 4. IFURUNG, Rey Nathaniel C. 5. MADRID, Rainier L. 2:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m. 1. MARTIRES, Samuel R. 2. RAMIREZ, Felito S. 3. RICO, Rex G. 4. SANDOVAL, Edilberto G. Judge CARLOS L. ESPERO, II is also a candidate for the said position; but his interview for the position of Supreme Court Associate Justice on 14 June 218 shall be considered valid aas far as his application for the position of Ombudsman is concerned.
