Japanese Steam Locomotive SL D51-498. デゴイチの愛称で知られるD51形蒸気機関車(SL D51-498号)が、JR東北本線の一ノ関駅～北上駅間を「SLイーハトーブいわて物語号」、釜石線の北上駅～釜石駅間を「SL銀河ドリーム号」として、岩手県の観光PR「いわてデスティネーションキャンペーン(DC)推進協議会」との連携により2012年6月2日～17日までの週末6日間、運行されました。 A SL D51-498, a Japanese famous steam locomotive for its nickname of Degoichi, traveled from Kitokami Station from Ichinoseki Station on the Tohoku Main Line and traveled from Kitakami Station on the Kamaishi Line to Kamaishi Station.This event was held as a part of the Iwate Japan destination campaign.
